The Republic of Texas All-Stars will debut as an All-Star team in the inaugural Collegiate Rugby Cup to be held in Bermuda before the Saracens v. USA Islanders on August 10th 2017. The Republic of Texas will make their first appearance against the Liberty Rugby Conference All-Stars.

The team will draw from collegiate-age talent throughout the State of Texas including the Southwest Collegiate Rugby Conference and the Red River Conference. Teams include Baylor University, Midwestern State University, Rice University, Sam Houston State University, Saint Edward's University, Sul Ross State University, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas State University, University of Dallas, University of Houston, University of North Texas.
